Join us for a guided foraging walk where you’ll learn to identify wild edible and medicinal plants with Botany Student Kiley Mann. In this workshop, we’ll focus on 3 native herbs, discuss plant identification and uses, the honorable harvest, and learn safe foraging techniques. And of course, lavender too.
Whether you’re completely new to foraging or looking to deepen your knowledge, this workshop will help you build confidence in recognizing common plants and understanding how to responsibly gather from the land. You’ll leave with practical knowledge, and you can carry into every walk in the woods some herbs to take home and a fresh bundle of lavender.
